Bridie O’Donnell’s Attempt On Women’s UCI Hour Record

On Friday 22 January, here at the Adelaide Super-Drome, Australian elite rider/Doctor Bridie O'Donnell will take on the world.  

O'Donnell has spent the past twelve months preparing for an assault of the UCI Elite Women's One Hour World Record. All part of the Santos Tour Down Under week, Bridie will be racing against the clock when she strives to set a new world mark.

Please don't let her do it alone, she will need your support! The evening will commence at 6pm with a series of sprint races involving the Australian Team headed by Anna Meares and Matt Glaetzer. Bridie will start her attack on the World Record at exactly 8pm with a live webcast via the UCI website, with Rik Fulcher and Anna Meares commentating.



When: Friday 22 January, Sprint Racing 6pm & World Record Attempt 8pm.  

Where: Adelaide SuperDrome, State Sports Park, Main North Road, Gepps Cross, SA


General admission - $20 (No Reserve Seating)

Tickets can be purchased at the entrance upon entry to Super-Drome. Door prize up for grabs!

The Hot Box - $50 per person + $1 booking fee. Reserved seating in the infield of the track only metres away from the track and the athletes.  Guests will experience VIP treatment including photos with the Australian Sprint Team and Bridie O’Donnell herself after her record attempt!

Please note there will be a Gold Coin donation for parking on the night.
